Isla Mariana Now Offering Beachfront Home Sites and Bungalows on Nicaragua’s Pacific Coast

Grupo Mariana, the organization responsible for the planning and development of the Isla Mariana Beachfront Retreat, has strategically repositioned their real estate products; hospitality offerings and alliances within Nicaragua to better reflect the interests of buyers in today’s market. Their recent focus on developing a strong, responsible strategy for future development and their location on Nicaragua’s Pacific Coast has made Grupo Mariana very attractive to new investors and partnerships.

Reworking of the Isla Mariana Master Plan has also been in process, integrating additional residential beachfront home sites that appeal to a larger spectrum of buyers’ interests and desires. Isla Mariana has completed the important process of obtaining the environmental permit for the development. In addition, permits and approvals have been obtained including the approval of the Major Use of Land Permit form INETER, department of Managua, Nicaragua establishing good conditions for construction on the land and no faults lines or risk to development and the Development Permit from the Municipality of Leon.

Laya Boutique Hotel and Bungalows is a new hospitality component that is planned for launch on February 21, 2012. Laya is scheduled to begin construction in June of 2012, completion, including food service in November of 2013.

As part of their future strategy, Grupo Mariana has also integrated a program that promises to reinvest 5% from every real estate sale at Isla Mariana toward the economic development of the surrounding area. The goal of the 5% for Futures Program is to help drive the economic growth and sustainability of the greater Salinas Grandes Region, creating an attractive area for the sustained growth of tourism activities.
