El Madroño Golf Club at Seaside Mariana will be the home of the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course in Nicaragua.
Golf legend Jack Nicklaus has chosen the Seaside Mariana Oceanfront Community to create a world-class golf course that blends effortlessly with the natural landscape by the ocean. He toured and studied the property at Seaside Mariana extensively and has take advantage of the diverse terrain to create an expansive golf course with jaw-dropping oceanfront golf holes. This is a ‘Signature’ course, meticulously designed by Jack Nicklaus himself, which places it in a rarified air among the world’s premiere golf courses.
“I get a great deal of satisfaction in having the opportunity to go into a new country and emerging market, and design a golf course that will not only enhance the tourism in that country but also help introduce and grow the game. I view this as a tremendous responsibility, but one I embrace. It’s a way for me to give back to the game I love. At Seaside Mariana, golfers will be able to experience ocean views on both nines with holes that play to and along the Pacific Ocean, including the two finishing holes. This is a wonderful site on which to create something truly special.”

About Nicklaus Design
"Since independent research began in the early 1990s, communities that feature a Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course as an amenity have resulted in the highest real estate value, the highest average home price, and the greatest velocity of home and lot sales. When all data was combined, a "net present value" was determined for each golf course designer, and Jack Nicklaus was the overall and overwhelming No. 1 choice."
